It all started when…

Chris Wright is a two-time award-winning Chef and Actor in Albuquerque, NM. His cooking show "Lights, Camera, Kitchen!", on UPublic Comcast Channel 27, is New Mexico’s only local cooking show celebrating the flavor of New Mexico Film - taking you behind the scenes of your favorite New Mexico filmed Movies and TV Shows. Chris is married to Emmy Award-Winning Meteorologist Eddie Garcia who is the Director and Executive Producer of "Lights, Camera, Kitchen!". They have proudly called Albuquerque home since 2010. Chris can be seen on NBC's "Midnight, Texas" as well as AMC's "Better Call Saul". When Chris isn't acting or cooking, he can be found at the helm of his brand new flavored body scrub company, TastyHole! Chris is represented in New Mexico by Lynette O'Connor at The O'Agency and in Los Angeles by Carissa Mitchell at Mitchell & Associates Talent.

Whiskey Classic ‘18 Chef Demo Recipes

Green Chile Whiskey Sour

1oz Roasted and Chopped Green Chile

1/2 oz New Mexico Honey

2 lemons

1 orange

2 oz Whiskey

Muddle the green chile and Honey in a shaker tin. Juice Lemons and Orange, add Whiskey and shake with ice. 

Whiskey BBQ Rub:

4 Cups Brown Sugar

1 Cup Salt

1/2 Cup Smoked Paprika

1/4 Cup Onion Powder

1/2 Cup Black Pepper

1/2 Cup Garlic Powder

4 Oz Whiskey

Mix thoroughly, spread out on cookie sheet to dry or use immediately. 

Once dry, the rub can be stored in an airtight container on the counter for 1 week, 2 weeks in the fridge, or up to 6 months in the freezer

Whiskey Milk Shake

2 Scoops of Dark Chocolate Ice cream

2 Oz Whiskey

Dash of Cinnamon

Dash of Nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

1/2 oz Orange Liqueur

Blend all ingredients together and serve.
